A reflection on Joseph’s story in the Bible.

When our dreams are shattered, how do we react?

Do we love God more than our own dreams?

Although Joseph must have grieved the loss of his past and what his life could have been, the Lord led him to a calling he had never imagined.

Today, the Lord longs to lead us. Are willing to be redirected by Him?    (taken from ODB )

As i read and medidate this message, i was thinking about my own dreams. Sometimes it’s so hard for me to accept that God has different plans for me. But i learn each day to obey and to be redirected by Him. It’s not easy, but i choose to follow His ways.

However, it’s just a dream away. Keep aware of His direction, keep believing and hoping for the best.

My cherished plans may go astray, my hopes may fade away, but still I’ll trust my Lord to lead, For He doth know the wayOverton

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9)
