My science club is getting better, i think.
Within these three weeks, we have a project to make 3D Earth model. I use balloons and cut old newspapers, and glue.
In order to help the process, i make the glue myself. Cooking it the night before so it will be ready for the kids the next day. So on a tiring Thursday night, i spent more than 2 hours making glue.
Mixing tapioka flour and water, pouring the solution into the pot on top of small fire stove. stir it all the way until it is sticky and boiled.
repeating the process several times until i had enough glue for 26 students.
Asking the students to put the glue on the balloons and stick the cut newspapers on it. Dry them so that next friday we can paint them.
I can’t wait to see the colorful earth they make and their smiling, excited faces when they bring them home. One for each student 🙂
