Hairy Fruit

Standard

Mango season is done for this year (which makes me a little sad). Durian season is also almost done. Now, it’s hairy fruit season.  We call it “rambutan”.

The skin is thick and hairy, but inside it is juicy white meat covering a seed.

When i was living in US, i got it in the can. well, it’s tropical fruit. It doesn’t grow there.

Notes:

Vicki, this is the fruit in the can with pineapple inside it. We put it in the mix fruit ice 🙂

Mbak Pam, jangan ngiler ya hehehehe, wish i can send some for you 😉
