My first impression of LA was busy, complicated, crowded, traffic. Of course it’s because i flew out and came in to USA through LA International Airport (when i went back home for my father’s funeral) So it’s a little bit familiar for me and i don’t really like to go out and come in to USA through LA .
Now that i am staying a few days in California, i feel a little bit different. It just feel like home; big city, traffic, buildings, people, a bit dirty, crowded.
I was impressed with all the people from all over the world i saw in Disneyland. i even came accross to some people who speak Indonesian language. I bet they are families doing vacation trip to Disneyland. and then seeing all the different people I saw in hollywood.
Here in Long Beach, I can see a lot of flying advertisement. A small aeroplane with an advertisement on the tail.
We went to the beach yesterday. It was so windy, reminds me of windy Kansas. They are Annette’s roomates. Abby (Left) is from Montana and Anna (middle) is a Korean girl who grew up in LA. They are fun.
Long Beach Road
And today I and Annette went to LA to see Hollywood 🙂
Downtown LA,but we were not going there.
The way to Griffith Obversatory, the place where we can see the hollywood sign.
There is a hiking trail up to the top of the hill.
From the observatory, we went to Hollywood boulevard.
I like Jackie Chan.
Michael Jackson’s star
Johnny Deep’s hand prints
There are more pictures of the hands and foot prints, but i don’t have much time to upload all in here.
Kodak Theatre is the place where they have the Academy Award and the red carpet. It was my favourite spot of the day. And inside the building, on the pillars, they have written the title for the best motion picture of the year.
Slumdog Millionare for 2008!
in this hall, all the stars walk on the red carpet to go in the Kodak theater. I am thrilled 😛
wow…Dorothy and friends are in Hollywood! too bad that the picture is not so clear.
Off we went to the Universal Studio.
